What do you treat?

At Loon State Physical Therapy, we strive to help you move at your best. This means analyzing your movement to assess which areas of the body are contributing to your specific limitations, as it isn’t always at the site of where your discomfort is. With this said though, we specialize in shoulder pain, hip pain, knee pain, and back pain. More specifically, low back pain, hip impingement, runners knee and jumpers knee, tennis elbow, and rotator cuff injuries.

Do I need a medical referral for physical therapy?

Minnesota is a direct access state, meaning you have the right to access physical therapy without a referral for 90 days. With that said, each specific insurance carrier is policy dependent regarding direct access. Please directly contact your insurance company to inquire about referral requirements for physical therapy services if you are not familiar with your carrier’s policy.

“Do you accept my insurance?”

With insurance premiums, deductibles, and co-pays continuing to increase, we want to focus on your optimal individualized care and avoid being limited by insurance companies to get your best results. For this reason, we do not directly contract with any health insurance carriers as we are a fee-for-service physical therapy practice and we believe this is the optimal way of providing the best care that you deserve. If you would like to receive reimbursement for your visits with us, please read the following section below!

How can I pay for my visit?

We happily accept HSA and FSA, all major credit/debit cards, cash, or check. Payment will be requested on your day of visit. In certain circumstances, there will be the ability to pay via your client portal. Our prices can be seen for our packages here. Our single visit prices can be seen here.

What should I bring to my appointment?

A strong motivation to get back to the life you desire and preparedness to MOVE! Wear comfortable clothing that will allow you to move throughout your visit as we work to get to the root of your bodily limitations and build your body back up to the resilient individual you want to be.
